This website belongs to and is operated by Penelope Fine Jewelery (‘Penelope’). Throughout the site, the terms ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Penelope.

By accessing or using any part of our website, you agree to be bound by the Terms of Conditions provided herein, as well as any additional terms and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. In particular, please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we use your personal data.

If for any reason you do not agree with our Terms and Conditions and/or with any other of our Policies, then you should not access or use our website.

By accessing and using our website, you also confirm that you are over the legal age of majority in your country of residence and that you are authorized to use a payment card for paying for your order.


You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time our website. We reserve the right, in our discretion, to update, change or modify any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the latest applicable Terms and Conditions on our website. We therefore recommend that you review our Terms and Conditions whenever you use our website. Your continued access or use of the website will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time.


All prices on the website are in Euro and include all taxes (including VAT) applicable in Cyprus. Prices do not include the fees that may apply as a result of any special request from the buyer. All prices are subject to change without notice at any time prior to receiving and accepting your order.

Depending on your delivery address/country, you may be required to pay duties in order to receive your package. We do not control these duties and you will be responsible for paying the applicable customs/import duties. No custom duty is applicable for deliveries within the European Union.


Orders may be placed online at any time. After receiving your order, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email does not constitute an order confirmation but an acknowledgment that we have received your requested order.

Once we receive your order and the payment has been cleared, we aim to dispatch it within one business day, provided that the item is in stock. Holiday orders will be shipped on the next business day.

If a product is not in stock, this will be indicated on the website along with the estimated delivery time. Given that our products are handmade, the estimated delivery times for items not in stock are typically between two and four weeks. If the item is completed before the expected delivery date, it will be shipped when ready and you will be notified via email when your order ships.

If for any reason, we are unable to fulfil your order then you will be notified by email and, in case you have already paid for your order, we will refund the amount paid through the same method used for making the payment.


Your order will be delivered to you free of any shipment cost. EU and international orders are shipped via DHL while local orders are delivered by a local courier. We ship all our jewelry fully insured.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail specifying the tracking number and a direct link to monitor the status of your order. Please note that we cannot make deliveries to P.O. boxes.

Please note that you will need to receive your package in person and sign before accepting it. In case your package has been delayed, please contact DHL directly in order to enquire as to the status of your package. You may also contact us at sales@penelopefinejewerly.com and we will contact DHL in order to establish the status of your package. We cannot be held responsible for any delay on the part of the courier as this is beyond our control.

Depending on your delivery address/country, you may be required to pay duties in order to receive your package. We do not control these duties and you will be responsible for paying the applicable customs/import duties. No custom duty is applicable for deliveries within the European Union.


We accept the following methods of payment:

(a) Credit or Debit Card

We accept payments by Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Payments by credit/debit card are executed through JCC Payments, a certified payment service provider (for additional information please visit JCC Payments’ website, www.jcc.com.cy). We do not store any information regarding the credit/debit card used for the payment. The payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon order confirmation.

If the issuer of the credit/debit card rejects authorization of your payment to us, we will not be able to proceed with your order and your order will be cancelled.

(b) Paypal

We accept payments from your PayPal Account. However, we only process orders if they are shipped to the same address as the address of the verified PayPal account.

(c) Bank Transfer

Please contact us at sales@penelopefinejewelry.com to provide you with the details of our bank account.

Once your payment has been processed and received by us, we will notify you by email confirming your order.


You have the right to return the item you bought from our website within fourteen calendar days from the date you receive your order, as shown on the courier’s shipment receipt.

To be able for a refund, the item must not be used, damaged, washed or worn and must be in the same condition that you received it with all the tags and safety seal intact. The item should be in the original packaging together with all the relevant documentation you have received with the item. Returns with missing paperwork or product cannot be processed.

The following items are non-refundable and sales are final: (a) custom items, (b) items that became damaged after delivery, and, (c) items that have been altered (e.g. resizing) and/or repaired by an unauthorised third person.

Once you have arranged the return with DHL, please send us an email at info@penelopefinejewelry.com informing us of the return. You should also keep the tracking number of your return in order to ensure that the product has been delivered to us.

You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning the item. You are also strongly advised to insure the returned product (this can easily be done with DHL).

We are not responsible for any returned packages that are lost or damaged and a refund will not be made in the case that we do not receive the returned item.

If an item is returned to us due to the customer’s refusal to pay any customs/import duties then we will need to recover this cost before proceeding with the refund to the customer.

Your item will be shipped in a hard box in order to keep it safe and free from any damage. If for any reason your package seems to be damaged, then please refuse to accept it and contact us at info@penelopefinejewelry.com so that we can investigate the issue with DHL and inform you accordingly. If you have accepted the package and then noticed the damage, then please contact us at info@penelopefinejewelry.com informing of the damage and sending us a photo of the packet. We should then contact you with further instructions.


After receiving the returned item, we will inspect the returned item and if we deem it to be in the same condition as when it was shipped to you, we will proceed with a full refund. We will send you an email confirming that we have received and accepted the returned item and that a refund has already been made to the person who made the original order/payment. The funds for the refund will be sent to the person who made the original order/payment using the same way as the one originally used for the original order/payment. Please note that return costs will be deducted from the refund amount you are due back. It is also noted that bank charges are not refundable and that we are not responsible for any currency fluctuations that may occur when issuing refunds.

If any of the conditions for accepting a returned item is not met then we will inform you via email that you are not eligible for a refund. In such a case, you may arrange for the item to be sent back to you at your own cost; you will be responsible for handling, shipping costs, taxes and duties.


You may cancel the order within 24 hours from placing the order provided that the order has not been dispatched by sending us an email at sales@penelopefinejewelry.com. No charges will apply for the cancellation provided that the order has yet to be processed. If the order has not been processed, we will authorise a refund to you (banking charges may apply which are not refundable).

We reserve the right to cancel your order in case the issuer of the credit/debit card rejects authorization of your payment to us as well as in cases of force majeure (events such as wars, natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, terrorist attacks, riots, civil unrest, strikes etc). In the case of such an event, we will contact you as soon as possible and notify you of the implications of the said event on your order. In cases of force majeure, we cannot be held liable for not being able to execute your order and in the case of not receiving the amount owed to us, we cannot be held liable for not delivering your product.

We reserve the right to refuse sales or cancel orders placed by a customer in violation of our website’s Terms and Conditions or as otherwise determined by us.


We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on our website (including product photos and description) is accurate, complete and updated on a regular basis. We cannot guarantee and we do not make any representation, whether expressed or implied, that all information on our website is always accurate, up to date, complete and free errors and omissions. We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time without prior notice.

All products are shot to show as much detail as possible, including colors. Given that every computer monitor has different settings, we cannot guarantee that the colors and sizes of our products are properly displayed at your monitor; any such variation may not be considered a defect or damage. We are not responsible if information or imagery on our website is not accurate, complete or up to date. All the material on our website is provided for general non-commercial information only and is not intended to be used as advice on which you may rely on or be used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting other sources of information. Any reliance on the material on our website is at your own risk. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage you may suffer from incomplete, inaccurate, not updated or distorted information on our website.

We cannot be held liable for non-substantial differences between the images of items and any other information on our website and the ordered items nor for any small deviations in the listed weights or dimensions of items as these are handmade.


We grant you access to and the use of our website for your own personal use.

We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage you related to the use or inability to use our website.

We do not guarantee that the use of our website will be without any interruptions. We cannot be held liable for any technical problems you may face in your effort to access our website or during the use of our website, which relate to the operation of your own device used to access our website.

We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus, malware or other harmful material that may infect your device, electronic software or your information due to your use of our website or from any other website linked to our website. You are solely responsible for the protection of your device, electronic software and your information by activating and maintaining up to date appropriate electronic protection before you use our website.

Our services are provided for your domestic and private use. We cannot be held liable for any loss of income, loss of profit, commercial loss, damage, loss of information or any other direct loss which was not foreseeable during the time you use our website or at the time of concluding the contract of sale between us.

Any dispute or claim associated with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Cyprus.
